Solving Brain Chatter

Solving Brain Chatter

Brain chatter inhibits the mind from achieving total relaxation. Those continuous thoughts keep the mind active and alert. Brain chatter is counter-productive, oftentimes focusing on possible future scenarios, whether realistic or not. So how do you silence all those thoughts when you are trying to relax?

Use a DAVID Delight Plus meditation unit by Mind Alive, Inc. The Delight Plus actually guides your brainwaves to a deeply relaxed, meditative state without any conscious effort by the user. It is the perfect remedy for clearing your mind of spontaneous thoughts and enabling you to focus on letting go. As you let go, your mental, emotional and physical being will begin to learn how this approach could become a personal gateway for improved performance and wellbeing.

The Meditation Machine

The Meditation Machine

The Meditation Machine is ideal for Yoga. It is an easily portable meditative tool for helping your mind experience consistently deep meditative sessions … without any conscious effort.

The Meditation Machine emits an incredible display of visual (via glasses) and audio (via earbuds) stimuli designed specifically for guiding brainwaves to slow down and focus inwardly. The Meditation Machine is versatile, and can be used before, during or after your regular Yoga workout. Many of our clients attend Yoga classes, and prior to training use a 15 minute Meditation Machine warm up program. They find it to be an excellent method for focusing on their Yoga instruction and getting more out of their subsequent personal practice. For anyone that has trouble letting go, is conscious of their breathing while meditating, are restless and have difficulty sitting still, lack consistency in having positive meditative sessions, or dwelling on unnecessary thoughts and brain chatter, the Meditation Machine could be a very liberating force for their meditation experiences.

Brainwave entrainment is why the Meditation Machine works so well with Yoga meditation: Our minds “think” in terms of frequency. Brainwaves change frequencies based on neural activity within the brain, be it by hearing, touch, smell, vision and/or taste. These senses respond to activity from the environment and transmit that information to the brain via electrical signals. Hearing and vision are considered favorable senses for affecting brainwaves safely. By presenting the Meditation Machine’s audio beats and visual pulses to the brain, within a few minutes the brain begins to mimic or follow the same frequencies as the stimuli (the beats and pulses). This process is referred to as entrainment. In essence, the Meditation Machine speaks to the mind in it’s own language- the language of frequency.

Christopher Oliver, developer of AV3x digital neurotechnology and Michael Landgraf, publisher of the AVS Journal, believe the DAVID Delight Plus by Mind Alive, Inc. makes the perfect meditation tool. In addition to the 25 programs built into the unit, we have customized an expanded meditation library and added eyesets with viewholes (added benefit of having eyes open or closed during a program) as an option. The Meditation Machine includes 5 built-in programs designed specifically for meditation, 5 more that target deep theta leading to delta and sleep, and an additional 15 programs designed for promoting our ability to relax and focus, at will. With our expanded Meditation 5 program library, the Meditation Machine has become the popular choice for combining light, sound and Yoga.

The Meditation Machine comes with: DAVID Delight Plus unit, custom expanded Meditation Library, Tru-Vu Omniscreen eyeset and carrying case, headphones or earbuds, stereo patch cord, carry bag, 9-volt battery,  AC adapter and operator’s manual. Options include: DAVID session creator, extra user package, Tru-Vu Omniscreen Multicolor eyeset and for ‘eyes open’ use the Tru-Vu Omniscreen Viewhole eyeset (white).

Breathing

Breathing
Trying to control your breath during meditation can be a problem for some. They feel unable to let go and just breathe naturally. It can be a focus-stopper during meditation as thoughts on breathing become overwhelming. Just being aware that you feel your breath isn’t happening naturally and you consciously attempt manipulation is more than enough to mess with your motivation for focus training through meditation.

Those who have this problem need to relax! Let go. And go ahead, let yourself manipulate your breath. Obviously you are trying to breathe naturally, but breathing just happens naturally. So you are not really manipulating it, you are just paying attention to it. Breathing happens whether you are focused on it or not. Let those thoughts drift away and focus on something else.

I started using the DAVID Delight Pro with visual stimulation during meditation and never experienced being fixated on ‘how I was breathing’ again. As I access gradually deeper brainwave levels in theta and delta, breathing becomes naturally rhythmic. Outside, in the sun, sometimes shade, for 30 minutes. Sitting, wearing lightframes that send colorful displays of information, pulsed frequencies that contain instructions for my brain. My brain quiets, and listens. My sense of smell sharpens with the scent of flowers, hearing all the different birds purifies my hearing. Living in a big city, air pollution, noise pollution and all that, I don’t have time to experience a lousy meditation session. With the DAVID Delight Pro I can instantly let go and not have to think of anything until a half hour later when my timer sounds.

The DAVID Delight Pro is built to last you a lifetime. Make the investment. Your meditative experiences will thank you! Your DAVID Delight Pro comes with 3 styles of lightframes: closed-eye, see-thru and mag-stim in addition to everything else that’s included. If you would like to make monthly payments rather than all-at-once, Paypal offers 6 months no interest when you choose Bill Me Later. Having DAVID Delight Pro as your mindmachine of choice will greatly impact your meditative sessions, assisting your goals towards complete mind / body / spirit singularity.

Restless by nature

Restless by nature

People who are restless by nature have a difficult time learning to meditate. Resolutions are made, and decisions to stick with them, but they don’t really last very long. Sitting still for an hour a day for meditation is alot to ask and is beyond many’s ability to sit still. How does an individual overcome figeting and restlessness that is seemingly ingrained?

Turning restlessness into peace and patience is actually easy to attain. Try meditation sessions with a mindmachine. Accessorize by having both multi-color and open-eye lightframes for sitting or walking meditation sessions. A mindmachine can gently lead you into deep states of meditative awareness, without any conscious effort on your part. Mindmachines are often referred to as light and sound machines and the best system for overcoming that ingrained sensation of restlessness is the DAVID Delight Pro with CES.

The DAVID Delight Pro with CES combined with audio recordings you enjoy listening to during meditation can turn your mind from constant restless thoughts to the depths of the theta brainwave state in minutes. The ability to be able to relax, to finally experience rhythmic breathing and inner awareness would be a valuable tool in your quest to overcome restlessness and enjoy meditation.

The complete DAVID Delight Pro with CES system includes Tru-vu Omniscreen lightframe with protective case; your choice of headphones or earbuds; black, yellow or blue Delight Pro case color; CES earclip stimulation cable, stereo patch cord; 9-volt alkaline battery; ac adapter; comprehensive operator’s manual and carry bag for portability.

Sitting uncomfortably sucks during meditation

Sitting uncomfortably sucks during meditation

There are posts all over the internet that describe how people are supposed to sit while meditating. It’s like a generic ‘everybody should do it this way’ one-size fits all. That is a load of crap as people are of different shapes and sizes, some have sensitive physical problems and others have disabilities. But these guidelines lead people to believe that is the way one should sit during meditation. People have the idea that they have to sit in a certain posture for effective meditation, and yet they find it is impossible to do so comfortably. If you are physically uncomfortable this will dominate your awareness and it will be impossible to relax. Forget what self-described meditation ‘professionals’ say and sit in a way that is comfortable for you.

Sitting during meditation is the most common way. Try to sit with your spine erect without straining. Don’t give it any thought, just sit the way you naturally do. Perhaps both feet on the floor with back support?

If you find yourself still thinking about your posture when you’d hoped to be meditating, consider getting personal assistance. The finest mind tool is the DAVID Delight Pro. Consider incorporating the DAVID Delight Pro into your meditation regimen. The DAVID Delight is much like a mantra, call it an ‘Artificial Mantra’, that unifies the brain to act in sync. You become focused and stay focused without awareness during your entire meditation experience. You are still, comfortable, and in the process of training your mind, body and spirit simultaneously. That is meditation. By incorporating the DAVID Delight Pro into your meditative sessions, you are experiencing what is referred to as Western Meditation (eastern wisdom and western neurotechnology).

With the DAVID Delight Pro as an adjunct to your meditative sessions you will realize sitting ‘correctly’ is no longer an issue. It’ll just occur naturally. And your quest towards singularity will become easier to achieve. The whole reason for meditating, for seeking the elusive state of nothingness (singularity) is to toughen you up… just ask a monk!

Good meditative experiences don’t always happen

Good meditative experiences don’t always happen

Our experiences during meditation will always vary due to
our mental and emotional frame of mind, as well as our
stress and anxiety levels as we cope with daily activities.
It is natural to judge past meditative sessions into okay,
good, damn good, etc., and I suggest you keep a small
journal to record your feelings and thoughts. It is
fascinating, when looking back to when you started
to where you are today, to realize all the subtle
changes that have occurred during your experiences
while meditating.

Be focused during meditation. Remember, there isn’t really good
or bad meditation experiences just as there are no bad or
wrong ways to feel. Meditation is about learning to relax. The
ability to release tightness and invisible pressure
surrounding the mental, emotional and physical states of
being, at will, is an achievement meditation can provide.

Still, it is nice to have positive meditative experiences all
the time. To assist me in ensuring that happens I use a
mindmachine. I incorporate eastern wisdom with western
technology to enhance every meditative session I experience.
I look forward to using my DAVID Delight Plus brainwave disentrainment
machine because of the effortless conscious participation on my
part. I can immediately just ‘let go’. Deep, timeless states of
awareness, coupled with realizations and vivid ideas, is what I
receive when combining my Delight Plus with meditation.

Restlessness during meditation

Restlessness during meditation

People often find it difficult to sit still during meditation. Thinking about what is still on your day’s schedule, things you could instead be doing, perhaps an urge to stand up and stretch. All signs of restlessness and perfectly normal as that can be a reflection of your body’s response as it winds down. It is hard to slow down when you have spent the day moving. You stop to meditate, but your body feels like it is still moving. It takes time for your mental, emotional and physical states of mind to shift from “on the go” to “neutral”.

It is okay to be aware of the restless sensations during meditation. You may find they diminish as your rythmic breathing becomes steady or in severe cases focus on the restless sensations. Ask what type of sensation does it feel like? Where exactly is the sensation? Give the restlessness some focused thought and gradually the sensation should diminish.

If you regularly experience restlessness during meditation consider a mind tool. The absolute best mind tool for meditation is the David Delight Pro. Many of our clients are yoga instructors who have incorporated brainwave disentrainment into their personal and professional practices. They use the pRoshi as both a pre-meditative warm up or as an adjunct to their normal meditation routine. For their students, many of whom have little or no serious meditative experience, the pRoshi offers complete submersion into deep states of theta and a sensation of timeless floating as your brain quiets down and begins to “listen”.

It is hard to make time on a regular basis to practice meditation. And it takes years of practice to achieve ultra-deep states of mind that are synonimous with meditation. This conundrum is solved through use of the Mind Alive David Delight Pro. Beginners can attain the same deep states associated with long-time yoga practitioners within minutes and can revisit these experiences anytime, in the comfort of your own home, without any conscious effort at all.

Being uncomfortable with our feelings during meditation

Being uncomfortable with our feelings during meditation
Sometimes while meditating we become uncomfortable with feelings that surface into our consciousness. Such feelings encompass emotional or mental thoughts or physical sensations.

As we meditate we become less focused on what’s going on around us and are more inwardly aware, including subconscious feelings that have been just below our conscious threshold.
Just go with these feelings and resist the temptation to stop your meditation exercise. Yes these feelings can make meditation a struggle but do not give in to them. Our mental, emotional and physical sensations continuously fade in and out. It is mind’s natural flow. Let them pass. As you become aware of the sensations simply allow them to be consciously present. Do not dwell on them or try to push them out. It is okay to be aware of the emotion, to notice where in the body the feelings exist, and allow your awareness of these sensations to be emotionally present. The emotion should diminish. As the sensation and emotion diminishes, let go of the emotion your mind is trying to define.  There are times that during meditation things can arise that are emotionally very difficult to deal with. It could be a repressed memory from the past or the need to modify a personal behavior pattern. For times like this you may find getting outside help beneficial.

A very popular and highly effective method for dealing with difficult emotions or feelings is to use the DAVID Delight Plus meditation trainer. Allow the photostimulating frequencies a couple of minutes to interact with your mind’s brainwaves and suddenly you realize the internal chatter has stopped, your mind is quiet and is in listening mode. In this very deep, timeless state, your mind has begun to repair itself through the process referred to as photo-disentrainment.

The DAVID Delight Plus acts as a personal meditation trainer that gently enables your mind to let go and receive the full beneficial effects of attaining deep meditative states.

Problems with thoughts during meditation

Problems with thoughts during meditation

Continuous thoughts (brain chatter) is a problem many people experience during meditation. Many feel they are incapable of quieting their mind and keeping out thoughts. We often receive emails asking for help from people who write that their mind just will not cease it’s chatter or stay focused on meditation.

Thoughts are a natural activity of the mind. They are part of meditation. Stop resisting thoughts and stop trying to make them go away. Become aware of the inner silence that is present in your mind rather than the thoughts. Both occur naturally and both are present while meditating. By stop trying to eliminate thoughts and learning to focus on inner silence you will begin to experience inner peace.

Learning to focus is easy. It does not take many years of meditative practice. It takes only a few minutes. How? With mind tools. The most advantageous mind tool to use while meditating is the pRoshi NeuroDynamic Activator. The pRoshi generates a visual algorhythmic message that quiets the mind, enhancing the mind’s ability to heal, and mentally, emotionally and physically promotes an incredible sense of deep, timeless, meditative calm.
