The BioElectric Shield is composed of a matrix of precision cut quartz (and
other) crystals carefully arranged for protecting, strengthening and stabilizing

In 1914, Max von Laue won a Nobel Prize in Physics by for his discovery of the
diffraction of X-rays by crystals. He showed that X-rays could be reflected and
redirected with a zinc-sulfide crystal (ZnS), much like mirrors can reflect
light. William Bragg won the Nobel Prize in 1915 for establishing "Bragg's Law"
which determines the specific crystal spacing needed to reflect and redirect any
type of electromagnetic energy.
Since those early discoveries, scientists have used natural crystals to reflect
and redirect other types of electromagnetic radiation (like gamma rays).

- What can I expect wearing a Shield?
Everyone has their own unique experience with the Shield. The Shield
comes with an energy similar to the ocean, or old growth forest. You
may notice that your energy is smoother through out the day. Or you

have healthy energy. However, they might notice that air travel is
no longer as tiring as it used to be. If you read our testimonials

- Can I share it with someone or give it to someone after I have
worn it for a while?
No, you can't. The Shield patterns to your energy field in just a
matter of hours, and so if you gave it to someone it could actually
be uncomfortable for them, if your frequency was quite different
from theirs. You can let them hold it, or do a muscle test with it
(if you are trained in doing applied kinesiological testing
correctly).
- I've heard the Shield has to be recharged periodically? Do I
have to send it back for this?
No you don't have to send it back for recharging!! With constant use
crystals can become fatigued, loosing some of their effectiveness.
By hanging the Shield in a window for 6 hours a month in daylight
(it doesn't have to be sunny), allows the energy of the sun to
recharge and revitalize the crystals. By doing this your Shield will
last a lifetime.
- What is the Shield made of?
Each Shield is sterling silver with brass accents, weighing 1/2 oz.

- How do I take care of my shield?
If the Shield is hung in a daylight (sunny or cloudy) at least once
a month in a window or outside for at least 6 hours, then it will
stay fully charged forever.
You cannot overcharge the Shield by putting it out in daylight for
more than 6 hours. However, do not leave your Shield off of you
hanging out when it is dark. Moonlight will drain it's energy. That
does not happen when you are wearing your Shield at night.
If you work in an extremely negative or stressful environment, you
could recharge your Shield more than once a month.
- Can my child wear one?
Yes, we find that some children, typically the younger ones, are
very attracted to their parent's Shield, and try to actually grab it
and put it on. If your child seems to want to wear a Shield, we
suggest that you make one available to them to wear at home until
they are old enough not to lose it when they are out of the house.
Its also easy to safety pin the Shield inside a garment or pocket.
Some parents tell me that their children hang it on a bedpost, and
it stays there all the time. Sleeping with it works very well for
children since it has a residual effect during the day. We have made
them for 3 years old and up - and they put them on and take them off
intuitively...which is why it's good to keep the Shield inside the
home environment. When they are old enough to wear a Shield
responsibly, then they are also at the age where they are working
with computers and/or watching TV up close. Either of which
indicates an important time to protect your child. Some parent's
report pinning the Shield to their child's backpack or in their

- What crystals are in the shields?
Our Shields have all natural crystals in them. They all include
quartz crystals, and then the other types vary depending on where
you live. (Please see "International Shields" which explains why
this is the case). We don't give out exact formulas as to what is in
each shield since this is proprietary information. We assure you
that all the crystals are living, natural crystals, of the finest

- What if I don't want to have to depend on an
outside force to protect me? Shouldn't I be able to do this myself?
While each person has tremendous untapped potential to protect
themselves without a Shield, why not take advantage of a natural
product that will protect you from unnatural energies. If you had a
choice between flying between San Francisco and New York, or
walking, most people would use the technology of airplane, instead
of taking months to walk! It can be thought of as a modern
convenience just the way we think of phones and cars. They make our

- Can the Shield get depleted?
The Shield can get depleted when you are in a high stress situation,
but it has a self-charging mechanism up to a point. If you have had
your Shield for more than a year and have not been following the
monthly schedule, and you are wondering if it needs to be recharged,
you probably are intuitively picking up that it's time for a
"tune-up". First try hanging it in sunlight for a couple days and
see if that makes a difference. If it doesn't, we suggest that you
send it in for recharging. You can also have someone do the muscle
testing with you to see if the Shield is working to capacity. To
muscle test refer to the procedure shown in the "Shield
Test/Research" section of this web site. For the testing you first
do a pretest, then retest by either: imagining a stressful situation
or holding up a battery operated watch or cell phone and retesting.
Finally hold the Shield and retest again. If you test weak even with
the Shield, it's time for revitalization. Another note if the Shield

shields?

- Is the Shield at the earth's frequency? Does the

- Will a Shield absorb negative energy?
No. When a person buys a single crystal, it comes at one frequency
and will absorb energy. Then the single crystal has to be cleansed
with sea water or the sun. When you are wearing the Shield, it is
not absorbing any energy. When it is on you, it is in the "protect
and balance" mode, balancing and strengthening your energy field,
and deflecting any energy not compatible with you. Therefore, it
isn't ever going to absorb negative energy. When you take if off
your body, the Shield is now on "input" and will accept the

- If I'd like to get one for my partner, but
they won't wear jewelry, is there any other option?
They can simply carry the Shield in a pocket. The ideal location for
the Shield is over the heart. It works easiest and most efficiently
there. But it is still doing its job while in the pocket.
They can put it on the night stand next to their side of the bed,
and, as long as it is within three feet of them, it is in their
energy field and balancing and strengthening and protecting them as
they sleep.
- Can the Shield be worn during pregnancy?
Yes because the Shield strengthens a person's entire energy field.
This means that it is excellent to wear the Shield during pregnancy.
Our acupuncture research showed that the immune system, and all body
organs and systems were strengthened by wearing the Shield. During
pregnancy, a woman may need extra strength and a better balanced
energy field for the additional demands that are placed upon her.
Because the fetus and Mother are cohabiting the same body, the

- Will the Shield protect my child in front of
the school computers

I am sensitive to
other people's energies or sensitive to energy in general. How does
the Shield help with this?

Yes, you can! The only time we suggest you take it off is if you
are going into a chlorinated swimming pool, since chlorine
tarnishes sterling silver quite rapidly. Tarnishing doesn't
affect the performance of the Shield, but naturally, it looks
nicer when it's not tarnished.
- How does the Shield work to help me with
stress?
By reinforcing your own naturally healthy and strong energies,
you are less susceptible to outside disturbances. When a person
is tired, it takes much less "aggravation" to produce a stress
reaction. The Shield helps to strengthen and balance your
energies, allowing you to handle difficult situations and people
more easily. It also deflects unhealthy energies from other
people (depression, anger, etc.) that normally your energy field
must deflect. The Shield deflects more than 90% of this
unhealthy energy.

- Is it waterproof?
Yes it is; however, we do not recommend wearing it in a
chlorinated hot tub or swimming pool because sterling silver
will tarnish much more quickly when exposed to enough chlorine.
Shower, bath, lake, river or ocean water is fine.
- Can the Shield weaken your over time as it
becomes used to the shielding and thus does not have to work to
protect itself?
The irony of this claim is that the Shield actually does the
reverse of weakening the body over time. When someone puts on a
shield, it assists their energy field in becoming more balanced,
and having more strength, or "chi". Over time, it reinforces
this pattern of energy balance and strength. Then if a person
takes off the shield, their energy field stays at the new level
of balance and strength.
Most people wear the Shield for months, and then find they are
ready to take it off for a while...maybe a weekend, or a month,
or even a year. All this means is that their energy field has
built up a pattern of strength so that is deflecting negative
energy all on it's own.
After a while, most people prefer to put the Shield back on for
one of 2 reasons. First, more transponders, or cell towers have
gone up in their area, and the energy bombarding is more, or
second, their body is ready for the support of the Shield again.

- Do they wear out?
Not if you recharge them regularly. To recharge the Shield
yourself and keep it working at peak efficiency, hang it in
daylight, either sunny or cloudy, for at least 6 hours a month.
Day light through a window is fine, but outside is even better!
This recharging cannot be done while wearing the Shield in the
sun. It needs to be off your body hanging free so there is space
around it. This will re-energize the crystals in the Shield. The
crystals in the Shield are constantly working and begin to get
fatigued. Physicists have been recharging crystals through
various methods for years, but we know that sunlight will work
perfectly for the Shield.
